I remember having to take those sumbitches down every night. It was a lot like disassembling a semi-automatic weapon, and I could break one down pretty fast. But they were health hazards, and it was waaaay too easy for some punk to just pull the lid off and do some spitball damage. A few years back, we replaced all the Arby&#39;s pumps with the ones on this link. Everything in a sealed bag, with washable plastic and rubber instead of metal. YOu have to get the seal on just right or you&#39;re gonna have some hellacious sauce spill in your dining room, but they get the job done. There are apparently McDonalds&#39; systems as well. I have no knowledge of the ketchup procedures. I can verify the one napkin per item standard, though. We were implored to ask them to super-size and suggest combos under threat of our jobs. I hated doing it as much as you hated hearing it, trust me. Worst of all was the Ronald McDonald House drive around the holidays, when we were required to ask each car if they wanted to donate the extra $1. I&#39;ve never encountered such hatred from such cheap bastards. Just pay the dollar...it&#39;s for damaged kids.<br /><br />My experience with Arby&#39;s depended on the company I worked for. Corporate gave free sauces, but the franchises I worked for had clearly posted signs that stated CONDIMENTS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. If you didn&#39;t ask for any, you got jack...not even ketchup.
